The Agonda Beach can be enjoyed by those who loves nature and can find peace of mind at Agonda Beach. The beach is relatively deserted due to its distances from the main cities. It is arround 37 km from the Margao city. It gives an element of solitude at the beach, as you won't find many tourists here. Agonda Beach is a three-kilometer long and lonely beautiful cove of white sand that is fringed with palms and casuarinas. It is dominated by a large hill to its south. The fort of Cabo de Rama is not too far from Agonda beach. The atmosphere of the fort creates a sense of history and drama that very few would fail to appreciate. There is a small church inside the fort.

There are very few facilities available and you are needed to carry all the essentials here with few tourists, no souvenir stalls, and just a few restaurants.

Agonda Beach is not safe to swim out too far on the beach.
