Morjim

Morjim Goa beach however is most famous for the Olive Ridley turtles that are found here. Even the strong breeze blown here is known as the turtle wind amongst locals as it attracts these beautiful sea reptiles. The southern end has soft white sands of the beach known as Temb which acts as a nesting ground for the Olive Ridley turtles that come here to lay their eggs.

Morjim Beach is one of the very few beaches where sitting on the sand doesn’t attract hordes of hawkers, dogs and onlookers, but the water does suffer from a bit of river run-off pollution and can-not ever be described as crystal clear.
